HOW TO COMMISSION
Commissioning custom graphics doesn’t have to be complicated. Here’s what to expect:

Tell me about your channel, what you’re looking for, and any ideas you already have.
Not sure what you need? That’s completely fine. We can figure it out together.
02. Plan Your Project
Once you’re happy with the plan, we’ll get your project booked.
03. Design & Concepts
You’ll choose a direction to move forward with, and we’ll start refining it.
04. Revisions & Refinements

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my commission take?
It depends on what you order, but most of my projects take a few weeks to complete. If you have deadline concerns, please discuss them with me via email – bri@sidequestdesigns.com.
Can I sell my logo design on merch (t-shirts, stickers, etc)?
Yes! You will have full reproduction rights for both personal and commercial use, including merch sales. Additional fees are not required for these rights.
What kind of file formats do you provide?
PSD (Photoshop), transparent PNG, and SVG (vector) are standard, but if you have any other file type needs please let me know during our email exchange. All files are high-resolution and will be made print ready, where applicable.
Am I able to edit the files myself?
I am always happy to provide you with editable design files, in one or more of the following formats: PSD (Photoshop), AI (Adobe Illustrator), or Canva. Please let me know via the order form (or via email) so that I can get you the file format that is most convenient for you.
What if I don’t like the design(s) you make for me?
If you are not happy with your design, please be honest with me as soon as possible. I want to make sure you like what you’re paying for, so let’s collaborate and make sure that happens!
REVISIONS
What counts as a revision?
A revision is a round of feedback used to refine an existing design. Every project includes 3 rounds of revisions.
One round can include multiple changes. For example, asking to change the colors, adjust a font, and move an element all at once counts as one revision round, not three separate revisions.
Requests outside the original project scope may require an additional quote. I’ll always discuss any additional costs with you before moving forward.
WHAT A REVISION IS
- Changing colors or adjusting the color palette
- Trying a different font or adjusting typography
- Resizing or repositioning elements
- Adjusting spacing, alignment, or layout
- Making small changes to graphics
- Changing an emote’s expression or minor details
- Updating text or other existing content
WHAT A REVISION ISN'T
- Asking for a new logo, emote, overlay or other design piece that wasn’t included in the initial project request
- Changing the overall creative direction after it’s been approved
- Changing a static graphic into an animated one (animated assets take more time!)
- Requesting major changes that require rebuilding the design from scratch
Terms of Service
By commissioning me through this sale, you agree to the following terms:
Payment Terms
- Project pricing will be provided in writing before work begins.
- Invoices will be sent through PayPal. Please do not send money directly. Let me invoice you. (It’s for tax reasons.)
- 50% payment is due upfront for any commission. The final 50% payment will be invoiced once the project is completed.
- After payment is received your project will be entered into the work queue.
Process
- Deadline expectations will be discussed up front. If deadlines need to change, reach out to me ASAP so we can adjust.
- All projects include 3 rounds of revisions. If more are requested, we can discuss having those added to your order at an additional cost.
- Design files will not be released until the final deposit has been paid.
Usage Rights
- All commissions come with a commercial-use license. You may profit from the designs, put them on merch, etc.
- You may edit the artwork in any way you see fit.
- I still retain the right to display the designs in my portfolio.
Order Cancellations
- Orders canceled within 30 days of booking are eligible for a full refund, provided work has not yet begun.
- Once work has begun, payments are non-refundable.
